Bryce Perry-Wright Bryce Perry-Wright 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Buford | 2026 State GA – Buford
One of the top young 2026 defenders in Georgia, the freshman at Buford showed easy D1 talent last year with the potential to possibly push for 5-star status down the road. He’s a lean interior defensive lineman with eye-opening quickness who is lightning quick off off the snap. He’ has “game-changing”’s a true difference making from the inside who brings plenty of athleticism to the middle of Buford’s defense. The Wolves are loaded with young prospects, and the standout defensive tackle has the potential to be the next great Buford defender. He has good size with a promising frame that should allow him to add more muscle and good weight over the next three years. Look for him to be a candidate to have a giant breakout sophomore season in 2023. He’s already a big name in thee recruiting world and earned major offers in January from Ohio State, Florida, Duke, Arkansas, Pittsburgh, among others. According to the latest update, Perry-Wright is ranked as the No. 2 DL prospect and the No. 6 overall prospect in the state.
Camron Brooks Camron Brooks 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Thomas County Central | 2026 State GA – Thomas County Central
It’s harder to find a better-looking defensive lineman in South Georgia for the 2026 class than 6-foot-4 225-pound Camron Brooks Camron Brooks 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Thomas County Central | 2026 State GA . An impressive young defender who can naturally elude blocks, Brooks has plenty of size and showed the ability to contribute early as a freshman last year. Playing on an excellent Thomas County Central team, Brooks was able to make a name for himself in year one and it led to a big month of January on the recruiting trail as he earned offers from Georgia, Texas A&M, among others. His potential is easy to see, and he was very productive for a freshman last year, totaling 27 tackles, 4 TFLs and four sacks, which led the team. More importantly, he helped lead a Yellow Jackets defense that only gave up 30 points in two games all year long. Thanks to their outstanding defense, the Jackets were able to go 12-1 on the season with their lone loss coming deep into the 6A playoffs. Due to his length, production, and big-time potential, Brooks is now ranked as the No. 3 DL prospect and the eNo. 9 overall prospect in the state.
Jordan Carter Jordan Carter 6'4" | 235 lbs | DL Douglas County | 2026 State GA – Carrollton
A promising young defensive lineman with some versatility to his game, Carter is a tough, physical defender with a great motor. He’s a impressive freshman who consistently does his job and has plenty of size for his age already at 6-foot-4 235-pounds. Playing for one of the top overall programs in the state, Carrollton has a load of young talent on the roster and Carter appears to be one of the best. He’s big and strong for his age and can get off blocks well for a freshman defender. His best football is still way ahead of him, but the D1 potential is easy to see. He has the potential to be a real impact defender and could have a breakout sophomore season next fall in 2023. Carter is ranked in the latest update as the No. 4 DL prospect and the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
