Rubley won the accuracy challenge for the underclassmen and showed some impressive arm strength throughout the day as well. He has the frame colleges love and could even add some muscle too.

Rubley has very good throw power and very good release. Fluid throwing motion. He has very good ball placement skills. He consistently allows his wide receiver to make a play on the ball. Rubley has very good pocket presence. Uses his good footwork and stays poised to find an open receiver downfield. He stays very poised under pressure. The biggest thing about Rubley his is ability to make plays out of nothing. He’ll make some crazy off platform throws, and continue to extend plays with running around in the pocket. I’ve been very high on Rubley since I saw his film as a freshman, and he earned himself an offer from Oregon today as well !

Very good throw power, very good ball placement skills. Whether it’s above the WR’s heads, over the shoulder, or in stride he kills. Very quick touch. Quick hips when rolling out left. Very good pocket presence. Rubley keeps his eyes downfield under pressure and stays poised. He has good mobility and athletic ability. He can get himself out of trouble with ease. Great young QB.

Luke had a stellar season as he torched defenses with 1,983 yards on 305 passing attempts, completing 61%. His 16 touchdowns paired with just five interceptions. That’s precision worthy of applause. Rubley’s arm is impressive as a freshman and he is going to have a solid career if he keeps this up.

The QB MVP showed why he is one of the upcoming QBs in the state. His elite release was on full display throughout the event. He has very good throw power. During the 1 on 1 drills with WRs & DBs, Rubley demonstrated his very good accuracy and ball placement skills. Very good accuracy at all 3 levels. He would thread the needle, in a tight window where only his receiver could catch it. Rubley would throw the ball in stride of the wide out, or right above their head. He was making good throws for his wide receivers to showcase their individuals’ skills. I am very impressed with Rubley, and I believe he will be one of the top Colorado QBs over the next couple of years.

In a heated quarterback battle among three elite competitors, Rubley stood tall, earning QB MVP honors. The ball exploded out of his hand with accuracy and power, while his ability to anticipate throws was unmatched. Rubley demonstrated poise and leadership throughout the day, characteristics that reflect his monster season. As a young talent, he has consistently shown he can make tough throws look easy. His blend of arm strength, mechanics, and football IQ place him among the state’s premier quarterbacks. Already drawing interest, Rubley looks poised to dominate recruiting radars as a potential Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year candidate.

Valor is no joke, and for a freshman QB to go into that stadium and put up good numbers is impressive. Regis has a good one on their hands. Rubley threw for 30/40 263 yards, a season high 75% completion rate, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He has an elite release. It’s almost instant. Rubley has a cannon of an arm. Very good throw power. His mental processing really stands out to me. He will go through his progressions, and find the open man downfield. He’s not forcing things. If no one’s open, Rubley dumps it off to the RB for an easy completion. Very good ball placement. Rubley is consistently threading the needle. One instance, he stood tall with pressure in his face, throwing an accurate pass in between 3 defenders. Another was he threw a TD in between 2 defenders. Good throw on the run as well. Every time I throw on the film, I’m thoroughly impressed with what Rubley puts on. I’m excited to see how he develops the next few years.
