Expert Analysis

Can’t say anything about Zack that hasn’t already been said. He’s a team captian, worked his tail off for another offseason, and played extremely well against a big defensive line. I’ve seen his pass blocking polish in the offseason, and it showed up again today. Zack was also a major reason why the Clarkston run game was working so well.
2-3 inches taller, Zach would be a Power 4 prospect. You cannot convince me otherwise.

This is a guy who absolutely deserves a shot at the next level. For multiple years now, I have seen Zack continue to improve. He has gotten bigger, faster and stronger and has improved his technique over and over again. He has continued to attend every camp and showcase he can to compete and show off his skill. Size doesn’t tell the full story for Zack, and there’s no reason that he doesn’t see some offers come his way before long.

Zack seems to have turned a corner. I watched him win against a few great defensive linemen. Zack’s feet are very fast, his punch is solid, and his recovery is upper-tier.
Height remains the biggest hurdle. I’m afraid that teams are overlooking Zack because he’s 6’1″. Skill-wise, Zack is GLIAC level. I don’t know if those GLIAC offers will come, but I absolutely know that the MIAA should be in hard pursuit.

I got to see Zack in perso this season, and he was one of the top performers of the Prep Redzone Showcase a couple of weeks ago, Zack’s ability is nice and fresh to me. Watching his full season tape, there is a ton to really like. Right away, he shows off a great first step when pulling and absolutely blowing up a DT that gets too far up field. His initial pop on contact is 2nd to none in the state. He has the mobility to get to the 2nd level in the run game, regularly bulling LBs and DBs that come up to make the stop. In the passing game, he does a nice job of staying square and absorbing rushers without being knocked off balance. I really like Zack’s game and I am excited to see what he adds to his toolbelt heading into his senior season!

Zack was one of the best OL I scouted throughout the entire 2024 season. Coming in, I knew Zack would perform well and he did once again. He tested fine with a 5.28 40 and a solid 8’7 broad jump, but his explosiveness and athleticism really shined in the abbreviated 1V1 period. Zack showed off great technique and footwork, typically driving guys out and not lunging or getting off balance. When defensive linemen bull rushed, he had no issues fighting back and driving them back to the line of scrimmage. Radlick will be one of my top offensive linemen going into next season, and this camp performance really solidified that.

Zack continues to impress me. He’s another kid with great fundamentals that helps him a ton. He isn’t the biggest in terms of stature, but his technique, power and athleticism have allowed him to still be a good prospect on the recruiting trail! He’s a competitor who blocks through the whistle. He can run block, pass block, get to the 2nd level and flat out pancake anyone in his path. I got to see it first hand just a few weeks ago and it left a great impression on me. I am looking forward to seeing what another offseason can do to further his already very high value!

There’s no doubt that Zack has improved over the course of this offseason. Generally, Zack is still a raw prospect who needs to prove himself further in order to be considered a prospect. At his best, Zack sports solid footwork, a decent punch, and can win pass reps quickly. At his worst, Zack plays off-balance, doesn’t recover well, and can have sloppy feet. Moving forward, Zack needs to work on his consistency. This season will be huge for him, and I hope he plays well against the top-tier competition in the OAA Red.

I think Zack shows big time potential. He bursts from his stance and drives his hands into the chest of his defender. He has good footwork that keeps him balanced and anchored against some of the best competition this state has to offer. The conference he plays in will continue to test him week after week, and I am a firm believer it will continue to sharpen his skills. Every time I have seen him in person he has gotten better, and I suspect this fall will be no different! I’m excited to see if he can truly take off in 2024!
