This will be an interesting prospect to watch this fall. Neenah fielded an excellent defense in 2023 and they return several key contributors. However, there are a few LBs who are graduating and those spots need to be filled. Among those competing for the job should be the 6’1″ 200 lbs

The first takeaway on tape is that Levi does a great job of playing in the box. He moves around the front seven without getting hung up on blocks. Levi is quick to find and close on the ball, leaving the OL little time to get up to him. Even when he does engage, he has the strength to quickly shed the block and stay on his path to the ball. If he can continue to develop physically and athletically he could find his way into a Friday night role. We will see him make a big jump in the rankings if he does that as well. Check out the freshman’s tape below.

Boivin is another young prospect who turned heads at the WI Stock Up Showcase. The 6’0, 185 lb freshman tight end from Neenah may have been the smallest of the group, but he stood his ground when going against some of the best upperclassmen defensive backs that the camp had to offer. Boivin is an incredibly smooth route runner, who possesses plus speed and strong hands. He ran extremely well and showcased the ability to separate from defenders in a variety of ways. As he grows and fills out his frame, look for Boivin to be a dominant tight end in the state of Wisconsin over the next 3 years.

Levi made his mark playing ILB for Neenah on the JV/C team. The 6’1″ 190 lbs athlete has a frame that has plenty of room to build on over the next three years. On the field, Levi shows a budding, balanced skill set. He has the range to pursue sideline to sideline. Levi is able to fight off blocks, and he has done a good job of being decisive, and aggressive. Boivin is a reliable tackler as well. He will be one to follow going forward.

Levi is a tight-end/wide receiver type who has turned some heads as of late. With a big-time performance at the PRZ Next camp back in January, Levi earned 1st team honors. Levi is the type of receiver who doesn’t shy away from contact on his routes and has no problem fighting for the ball in traffic if he needs to. With him also playing baseball at a competitive level, he could be one of those rare dual-sport athletes at the collegiate level.

Levi certainly left his mark with my late eye test especially during 1v1s, as I came away very impressed with his long catch radius within his well-built 5’11 frame and he showed just how physical he was within his route-running to very consistently reel in those high-traffic catches. I also enjoyed watching Levi’s fluidity you could quickly see for the duration of his routes as from start to finish, you could easily lock and see just how much football IQ this young man really has within his growing plethora of skillsets. Every ball I watched this young man catch had that “what’s next” instinct engraved with it, as I have a gut feel this young man will certainly cash in with how many yards he can get after the catch based on what these eyes saw on Saturday night. You know a Next prospect has some potential next-level skillsets when after the event I feel the absolute need to text our Prep Redzone Wisconsin scout to get him our high school radar early for his upcoming freshmen year next year. Levi looks to be a WR prospect destined in the future to play on Saturdays.
