Ashton actually plays QB for Neenah, but his main role is to run the football. A job that the ’27 ATH and NDSU commit has proven is perfect for him. I love the tape. Ashton is so physically imposing and dominant. He has the speed to create the highlight reel long TD run, but the most consistent highlights are plays where he is running through multiple tackle attempts without going down. The 205+ lbs athlete is built to wear down a defense with his downhill running style. Ashton is the hammer in a lot of contact scenarios on tape. I’m preparing for a monster senior season from Ashton that puts him in the running for Player of the Year.

. The Neenah starting QB is the epitome of a dominant dual threat QB. On the ground you have to consider him an RB. His vision, patience, burst, instincts, and power through contact at 205 lbs make him a nightmare to contain. Then you give him the ability to make high IQ plays and smart reads on option plays and he becomes even more dangerous. Once he gets that crease the junior is going to show off the speed to take it the distance too. At 6’2″ 205 lbs and with his power and athleticism Ashton could play a lot of positions on the football field at a high level.
As a passer Ashton isn’t as refined, but you see the easy arm strength to uncork it deep downfield. Plus he has the control over his placement. The raw tools are there for him to stay at QB and continue to develop that part of his game at the next level. While Ashton isn’t quite as big, he reminds me so much of AJ SeymourAJSeymour
