Sullivan consistently stood out as a difference-maker on both sides of the ball. His combination of football IQ, body control, and competitive toughness made him a focal point for every opposing defensive and offensive coordinator. Sullivan’s route-running was elite for his frame. He ran sharp, crisp routes with excellent footwork at the top of routes, creating instant separation even against high-level coverage. Whether running slants, outs, or deep digs, he showed the ability to throttle down and accelerate out of breaks without telegraphing. His release off the line was quick and decisive — a true “get-off” that allowed him to beat press coverage immediately and get into his route stem cleanly. Once the ball was in the air, Sullivan attacked it with aggression, high-pointing throws and showing strong hands to secure catches in traffic. He was versatile across multiple offensive packages: slot alignments, outside receiver sets, and even some motion work. Coaches saw him win in every phase — short, intermediate, and deep. In 7v7 settings where timing and chemistry are critical, Sullivan’s consistency gave his quarterbacks an extremely trustworthy target.
On the defensive side, Sullivan was a true ballhawk. His instincts in zone coverage and man-to-man were outstanding. He mirrored receivers through their entire route, rarely losing leverage or getting caught flat-footed. What separated him was his closing speed and ability to cover ground quickly — he routinely closed large windows on underneath throws and deep balls alike. His range allowed him to play multiple defensive back spots (outside corner, nickel, and even some safety help) without sacrificing effectiveness. He is not a burner in the traditional sense, but his short-area quickness and acceleration make him extremely difficult to cover in space. His football character and competitiveness were evident — he played every snap with intensity and was vocal in helping teammates with adjustments. Sullivan left Rock Hill with momentum. Keep eyes on him this spring and summer — he is ready to make noise at the next level.

Dayvian runs smooth routes and has a strong vertical leap. He can make catches on the boundary or in traffic, and is not scared of contact. He is also versatile enough to play defense, locking up receivers all weekend and making big plays on the ball. Young, but very talented. Keep an eye out for him this summer.

6’0, 155 pounds. Self reports some solid testing/track numbers. Boasts a 4.54 40 time and a 6.68 55m time. A sophomore representing St. John’s Prep and Nxt Era Panthers, Dayvian Sullivan is currently unranked on our New England 2027 rankings. A good showing at our event would force a good word from me to NE lead Roger Silva. Started three games last Fall. I’ve seen some intriguing clips on Twitter, hope to be impressed this weekend.
Here’s what our very own Brian Phillips (New England) had to say after evaluating Sullivan’s tape.
The first thing you notice when watching Dayvian is his speed. Dayvian has smooth and efficient movement abilities. At WR, he creates separation and can beat you vertically. He has good size and will benefit by adding some weight to his frame. He has reliable hands and can make the contested catch, Dayvian will surely be a top WR in the Class of 2027.

Dayvian is another speedy wideout coming out of Massachusetts, a state that honestly doesn’t get enough credit with the football talent it produces. In almost every clip that I have seen from Dayvian, it seems like he can blow past defenders with relative ease. Whether he is going deep on a fade route, or taking a hand off via jet motion, Dayvian is going to gain chunks of yards at a time. With all of that being said, what makes Dayvian elite is the smooth routes that he runs. He makes his breaks look effortless and has no problem getting his head around to find the ball. Dayvian also has great hands and seems to catch the ball in space very well and has no problem continuing to run after bringing the ball in. Overall, Dayvian is one of the top big-play athletes coming out of New England in this 2027 class. He’ll be a fun one to watch develop.

Sullivan is a kid that football fans in the northeast need to get very familiar with. At 5-foot-11 and 140-pounds, he’s a dynamic playmaker out of Massachusetts. He’s long, fast and explosive on the outside as a Wide Receiver. Has no problem taking the top off a defense by running go-routes, but can also take quick screens the distance, too. Sullivan is also a special teams menace, with the ability to hurt the opposition in the return game.
