Kreye has all the tools that big time passers have in their toolbox. He has the arm talent to spray the route tree with accuracy. He has great touch on his deep ball, which enables him to stretch the field in the vertical passing game. Kreye has great pocket awareness, he has the athleticism to avoid pressure and make throws outside the pocket on a rope. He should see some snaps at Guyer this season but he is the heir apparent that will be under center for the Wildcats for the next two seasons. He had a busy offseason on the 7v7 circuits, as well as the camp scene. Kreye picked up offers from Houston, Colorado State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Texas State and TCU.

Kreye is listed at 6-foot and 145 pounds but looks significantly taller on film and during Quarterback drills. He’s a long, lean righty who re-wrote the record books a season ago as a seventh-grader. Last year, he set the seventh-grade Harpool Middle School mark for passing yards in a game (252), completions in a game (17), passing yards in a season (1,463) and completions in a season (98). He’s poised for a big season with his two favorite targets coming back for another season of middle school ball, before they’re all off to Guyer High School in the fall of 2023.
