This article is filled with talented OL, and the next one up is the 6’6″ 270 lbs OT out of McFarland. I started the season watching Dyslin, and came away impressed. The big man does a good job with his technique. He keeps a wide base that allows him to generate a lot of power. Power that makes it easy to walk DL off the ball and into the second level, or ground. I am also impressed by his range. His highlights are filled with him essentially running kids off the ball thanks to that power, and he is able to stay on them with that range and light feet. Keats is one of the OL in WI that I believe can stay out at OT at the next level.

In the running for best prospect of the day is the 6’6″ 275 lbs LT. I was looking forward to seeing how the big man had developed this offseason , and I wasn’t disappointed. His lower body mechanics have cleaned up a ton. He played with a more consistently wide, and strong base and we saw it lead to a lot more push and ability to reset the line of scrimmage downfield. With a full season of growth still to come I think we could see a big rise in recruitment for the LT. Definitely a lineman to know.

A potential sleeper in the Class of 2023 is the big man out of McFarland HS. Keats has great size at 6’6″ 270 lbs, and he has impressive upper body strength allowing him to control and steer defenders in the trenches. The big man is also light on his feet, and that allows him to get himself in position to gain the leverage advantage. This fall I’ll be watching his lower body strength to see how it has developed over the offseason. If he has shown growth there then there’s a good chance he makes the biggest risers list this winter.
