Nolan has proven he can be a three level defender. He can play at the short, intermediate, and deep levels of the field. The senior can also be asked to play in the box vs the run with his physicality, in the slot in coverage, or in a deep zone where he can sit back, read the field/QB, and then attack and close quickly on the ball. Nolan can play in coverage and will also deliver hits that you remember on Saturday morning. His versatility is something we drastically need when building the perfect DB recruit.

The rise of Menomonee Falls’ 2025 DB on the recruiting trail has been a steady and consistent upswing that culminated in Anderson earning a Badgers offer this past week at Wisconsin’s prospect camp. The raw speed has been a big data point in Anderson’s growth from a FCS to FBS to P4 prospect in the span of around three months. Anderson popped off a 10.88 100M as a sophomore in 2023 and added a 10.90 this spring for good measure. He’s also added an impressive 21.69 and 21.85 200M this spring, as well as a 6.54 55M this indoor season, earning two All-State honors along the way on the track, and during the summer camp circuit has continued the spree of speed. 4.51 40 at the UWRF camp, and went 4.50 and 4.58 at the Badgers camp, along with a 4.10 shuttle at the Northwestern Wildcats camp, and a 9’7″ broad as well.
Anderson posted 70 tackles, 9 PBUs, 6 TFLs in 2023, earning Second Team All-Conference honors along the way, and opens his tape with a crushing hit on a wide receiver over the middle. The 5’10, 180 lber. tracks the hip, mirrors, and is impressive when tackling in space and 1v1 situations, and he looks like he’s shot out of a cannon when he sticks his foot in the ground, gets downhill, and closes in run support. Anderson has reps of man coverage out of the slot, displaying the ability to get hip to hip with WRs quickly and undercutting receivers while the ball is in the air, and his closing speed in pass coverage and pace out of his breaks catches the eye. Anderson’s overall effort and motor in pass coverage, as well as pure want to break the pass up, is noticeable as well, and he’s a thumper and physical presence from the third level of the defense in both run and pass support. Love the move by the Badgers to become his first P4 offer, the film is a fun one to watch and the speed shows up in a lot of different ways.

What a ride it has been covering Nolan for the past several years. Watching him grow and develop his game and learn over the years has been an impressive journey to witness. Last night we saw a big leap in that journey as he turned a dominant showcase of his talents into an offer from the Wisconsin Badgers, marking his first Big Ten offer and 7th D1 offer overall. Watching him prove his abilities was fun to witness.
He blew away the combine testing. Showing that he has the explosive athleticism to play at the highest level. We also saw the blazing speed required to roam the back end of a defense with a 40 that coaches timed in the 4.48- 4.53 range. The 5’10” 180 lbs ’25 DB has the tools, but he also had to show that the athleticism translates to the field. In DB drills the Menomonee Falls product demonstrated quick feet and loose hips to transition out of a backpedal in every direction. He also showed he could turn and run, find the ball, and go up and attack it. Anderson looks like a kid that you can ask to drop down onto the line of scrimmage and cover a receiver man to man if needed and not be at a disadvantage athletically. It was a great showing and an exciting opportunity that he capitalized on. Big things are ahead for him.

Nolan was a defensive back prospect out of Menomonee Falls that had one of the best football IQs I saw within the 2025 class in the defensive back group. You also have to note that he has only been playing in the secondary for just over a year, so the ceiling Nolan has back there certainly is going to grow a ton over the next handful of years. He showed off high levels of athleticism and he showed off an agile quick release out of his brakes. Nolan also showed off some fluid hands and showed off an enhanced pad-level in Indy drills and was another Best of the Best top performer in our defensive back group. 5’10 180 pounds are Nolan’s measurables, but even in a non-contact camp setting on Sunday, Nolan played with a physical chip on his shoulder as that lines up right when you see him on tape. Nolan has plenty of FCS interest, and coaches will love his football IQ and high ceiling at the next-level and I certainly prefer my defensive backs to have a track background like he has.

. Nolan had a great day from start to finish. The 5’10” 170 lbs DB posted a 4.60 40 yard dash, 4.30 shuttle drill, 8’9″ broad jump, and a 7.34 L-Drill. That was just the beginning of the day. Nolan then went on to the position work and proved that those change of direction times were so strong because of his quick feet and loose hips allowing him to transition with ease. In the one on ones Nolan put it all together. He reacted quickly to the receiver’s breaks, had the speed to turn and run with them downfield, played the ball in the air really well, and won a lot of reps. A big junior year is on the way for the Menomonee Falls DB.
