. Right away, the strength grabs your attention. Jack seems to almost bench press OL away from him, then uses his quick twitch athleticism to get around them and make the tackle. He is also able to get penetration and bull rush consistently from the interior which throws off plays and creates chaos even if he doesn’t get home. We saw that with the pressure that forced an INT. Gallier also has the football IQ for the position. A great example is his INT on the screen that he quickly sniffed out. The first step quickness and power are the major keys though. That is what is at the base of most of his top plays. He is a violent athlete on the interior of the DL. It is great to see that he is starting to see more offers roll in recently. He has earned it.

. Gallier checks in at 6’1″ 260 lbs. The thick, compact DL is blessed with a reliable base of quickness. Both out of his stance and laterally, Jack is able to eat up space and move side to side without losing speed. In short areas, Jack is a mismatch because of how quickly he can get through gaps. Jack makes a lot of high IQ plays as well. He sniffs out screens and diagnoses plays quickly to ensure he doesn’t put himself out of position with that quickness. Check out his tape below.

A demon on defense for the Bulldogs, at only 6’1 some would say Jack is undersized but I think it just adds to the chip on his shoulder. He plays 100 miles an hour on the field and it shows on his film. He’s disruptive in the run game, relentless chasing quarterbacks and he always seems to be making the play when the play needs to be made. Look for a huge senior season from Jack in 2023 and I can definitely see him being a major asset to an FCS program in the future. His Twitter handle is @JackGallier4
