Costsa showcases a good frame that features solid length and a good wide body that can play on the interior or at offensive tackle. Costa’s athleticism is one of the best parts of his game and he should be a prospect that continues to showcases those movement skills as he adds strength and weight in a college program.

The backbone of the Holy Trinity offensive line. Costa has a huge responsibility at center for a “thinner” Trinity team up front and he does a phenomenal job. He finishes his blocks against good defensive lineman and he opens up space for Jameer Reeder Jameer Reeder 5'10" | 180 lbs | ATH Holy Trinity | 2024 State NY to run wild. Look for Costa to be the Titans top offensive lineman all year long.

This past season at Center, Costa showcased really good movement on the interior while also displaying a really strong use of leverage and quickness in his lower body. Costa can move to the second level and get to linebackers but also has the power to take defensive tackles 1v1. Costa was a part of a Holy Trinity offense that featured a very strong screen/short passing game and there his ability to block in space was often used to block smaller more athletic defenders. Costa has solid size at 6-2, 275lbs but could add some more weight and strength to his frame which would certainly help increase his ceiling at the next level.

Costa is one of the best lineman in all of Long Island regardless of class and he is an anchor for one of the best offenses in all of New York at Holy Trinity. Costa ticks all the boxes in looking for an interior offensive lineman for the next level. Costa is strong and uses his lower body to generate that power, his movement is fluid especially at the hips, and he nearly always is first to initiate contact and dictate the hand battle with who he is blocking. Where I was most impressed is Costa’s aggressiveness in pass protection. On pass plays Costa is very quick with his arms and sets his feet well. Things I think we could see a little more of from Costa is some more nasty finishing on his run blocks. Costa completes blocks well but the is a lack of a finish that you desire from your more interior guys. I think Costa will really start to get some local attention and offers this fall as he looks to anchor the line of one of the best offenses in Long Island once again.
