Lockwood was locked in from the opening whistle, delivering a productive performance from his cornerback position. He finished with 15 total tackles and two tackles for loss, showing his willingness to contribute in run support. Lockwood brings a physical presence to the position and does a good job getting his hands on receivers to disrupt their timing. His activity around the football stood out throughout the game. At one point, his aggressiveness led to a pass interference penalty when he failed to get his head around but I loved the competitiveness. Lockwood flashed the tools of a young defensive back on the rise and continued development should make him a name to know this season.
