A sleeper linebacker to know in South Georgia who deserves more recognition, Herring is a state-champion defender who hits hard and consistently finds his way to the ball-carrier. Playing on one of the best teams across the country, this aggressive, instinctive linebacker showed on film that he has the ability to play at the D1 level. He plays hard, wraps up properly, and was able to make 73 tackles and 12 TFLs while picking off two passes in coverage. As a senior this fall look for Herring to be a consistent playmaker once again for the powerful Yellow Jacket defense in 2026.
