Coming from the Empire State, Joe Devita Joe Devita 5'9" | 205 lbs | LB Chaminade | 2028 State NY appears to have the mental aspect of the game down. Devita seemed indicate that he knew what to do and what’s going on, often communicating; however, he must move his body along with his mouth and mind. During 7v7 I watched as Devita communicated to his fellow defenders that the back released into the flat. As if he telegraphed it, the quarterback delivered the rock to that running back. Although he initially pointed it out, Devita did not move nor get down hill in time to complete his portion of what should have been a vice tackle. As such, the running back evaded Devita’s vice teammate, squeaked up field a bit, and then cut across Devita’s face to break into the secondary.
