Mausser flashed potential as a defensive lineman with next-level potential as a Valley junior in 2025. When we watch 11th-grade highlight video, there’s a disruptive force in the trenches. He’s quick off of the snap and is fast in a straight line. Mausser beats blockers with long arms and active hands. They also make him an obstacle in passing lanes. A variety of pass rush moves make it tough for the opposition to stay in front of him. Mausser does a nice job operating within the defensive scheme, keeping the ball in front of him and funneling it to teammates if he’s held up. Mausser’s frame can take on plenty of good weight as he becomes stronger, giving him a sizable ceiling for the future.
