was a player that was knocking on the door of the top ten during our first ranking update earlier this year. We only had some limited film to work off of and the opinions of some of his coaches. But we got a chance to watch him in person this spring and he immediately passes the eye test and it was pretty obvious that he belonged in the top ten and the ceiling for him is just as high as we thought it could be earlier this year. Walker is listed right now as an athlete and the natural spot for him moving forward could be as a defensive back. When we watched him in May, he was dominant at the cornerback position. He’s long, athletic and has a natural ability. But don’t count out the playmaking ability on offense or special teams.

is a 2029 prospect that we’re watching very closely over the next nine months because all signs point to him being one of the breakout stars during the 2026 season. Walker saw limited varsity time for the Yellowjackets in 2025 but we believe that he will step into an elevated role because of who they lose to graduation. Walker’s film is incredibly impressive to watch and the production (although it’s not at the varsity level) is off the charts good. Walker is also a prospect that looks like he checks the size box based on the film but we’re looking forward to seeing him in person this spring. Choctaw coaches have also been vocal this offseason that Walker could be the next guy up in this Choctaw pipeline. And in the last five years, the Yellowjackets have consistently produced playmakers.
