Under recruited 2026's - Prep Redzone

Every year, there are 2026 recruits that get overlooked for a multitude of reasons and pick up late offers as the mad rush to get them before the national early signing day. Who are some under-recruited 2026's? Let's dig in.    Devaughn is an exceptional athlete and is a complete three-down back. He will run between the tackles, shows good contact balance, gets to the second level with ease, and has the speed and burst to get to the edge and hit the runway for home. He is a natural hands catcher and the most complete back in the class. He holds a Power-Four offer, but I expect more programs to get in on him late. He is a player who should hold multiple Power-Four offers and should receive better quality programs coming his way.     Jasean is an excellent prospect and is great off the line, and shows good footwork. He is a slippery receiver to cover. He has good hips and does well with in-and-out-breaking routes, is deadly with second moves, and is excellent at tracking and high-pointing the ball. I've been saying it for about a year that he's been one of the most under-recruited prospects out there. He is a D1 talent.     Louie put on good size this offseason, and that's made him a more complete back to handle a bell-cow role. He showcases great vision and has good contact balance and physical play strength. He has soft hands and is a weapon in the receiving game, and can run routes from the backfield or in the slot. He's an exciting prospect.     Slade is an exciting athlete and a two-way prospect. Offensively, he does well, winning all three levels as a receiver, and has good footwork. Slade is creative with the ball in his hands and uses his vision to see two to three moves in advance. Defensively, he can be a cover corner or either safety position. He has good physicality, good hips, and the closing range necessary to win defensively.     Ledger is an exceptional offensive lineman. He has good size and showcases quick footwork. He has an excellent base and does well sticking to his blocks and keeping his defender in front of him. He is a strong and physical player who is a mauler in the run game. He does everything you want to see in an offensive lineman. He is an exceptional talent.     Carson is an excellent lineman and has the versatility to play alongside any of the line positions. The blindside tackle is where his skill set aligns. He is quick on his feet, moves well laterally, and has the length and size to hold up against various types of EDGE rushers. He is fundamentally sound and is a player who can move inside if he needs to.     Ty is an exceptional defensive back and possesses elite traits for the position. He has good hips and cover skills. Ty shows good closing speed, has the burst necessary, and has the ball skills to change the momentum of the game.     Toa is a player who has all the makings of being the next great Lone Peak defensive back. He has good speed, a physical style of play, and good closing speed. He's a player who isn't afraid to come down in the box and help out in the run game and can be the deep safety as he has the closing speed and range to cover.     Bosten has made the most out of his final year and has put together good tape. He processes defenses quickly, gets to his second read, will take deep shots, and has a good delivery. His ball placement is good, and he leads his receivers open. He throws a good deep ball and is a player who has all the tools necessary to suit up on Saturdays.     Dustin is an active and physical backer who does well attacking and pressing forward. He does well in not getting bogged down in traffic and will pursue and chase down the ball carrier. He has good size and shows good instincts, doing well in attacking once he plants his back leg.     Briggs has transformed himself into a complete three-down back and improved his quick burst and overall speed. Last year, he was a thumper that did well in between the tackles, but this year, he is getting to the edge and creating separation on the field when doing so, and has been effective in the passing game, and he is a receiver that doesn't fight with the ball. Plenty of traits to like.     Mac is one of my favorite pass rushers in the class, and he has good size and speed. He moves well off the ball, has good lateral quickness, and has a good burst and closing speed. He gets his lineman off balanced and has plenty of tools in his bags to win. He can win with speed and with power.     Aisa has been tremendous this season, and the transfer up has done wonders for him. He's blossomed with the new surroundings and is a player who is standing out on a robust West defense. He has good physicality, and his style of play allows him to be versatile; he can line up as an EDGE rusher or move inside if needed. That versatility allows him to be on the field with more options. Plenty of tools to like.    That's a baker's dozen of under-recruited prospects.
