Jaxson Kirchhoff Jaxson Kirchhoff 5'8" | 160 lbs | RB/LB Humboldt | 2027 IA ‘s role shifted in 2025, moving from RB to WR, and he is primed to become one of the top passing targets for Humboldt’s offense in his senior season. Kirchhoff finished with 14 receptions for 140 yards and 2 TDs as a junior. His role in the backfield waned as the aforementioned McIntire dominated the reps in the backfield, but Kirchhoff’s athleticism and speed transitioned well in the passing game, taking a unique role as he proves capable both in the slot and as a Wing who’s reliable in the flats and can take off in a flash after the catch. Kirchhoff will look to make a big splash on offense in his senior season to help keep this unit afloat.

Kirchhoff rushed for 354 yards (5.4 YPC) and three touchdowns as a sophomore in balanced rushing attack last season, when the Wildcats reached the state championship game. He should see an increased workload in 2025 after graduation losses, and also could find time on defense. Kirchhoff’s Hudl page only includes a couple of his touchdown runs from last season. One is a short-yardage score against Charles City. The other carry goes for 45 yards to the house. On it, he shows vision, burst and breakaway speed. Kirchhoff, who also competes in baseball and wrestling, is one to watch in the gridiron.
