I didn't go into this camp expecting to focus on QBs, but that's just how the cards fell. This group of QBs was simply too good to pass up. Here are my thoughts regarding five Michigan QBs at Eastern Michigan's Midweek MACtion.

Charlie is as steady as they come. Confidence in a ranking comes with repeated, consistent in-person evaluations. Although Charlie was not my priority, I saw enough of him to further solidify my opinion of him.

This is a QB who should be a solid prospect in a year's time. I don't see D1 suff from Charlie, but D2 and D3 are absolutely in play. He's got his mechanics down- very consistent on this front. Throw power, accuracy, and timing are all on par with other D2-potential Class of 2027 QBs.

A very good showing from Jake. I heard coaches talking about some of the other QBs, but I thought Jake was the best at camp. I witnessed a few very high-level throws. One throw- a perfectly placed and hard-thrown ball to a 20-yard crosser / shallow post. I thought that Jake consistently had the tightest spiral, threw the hardest, and throw power didn't hurt accuracy as much as others.

I only watched a small handful of throws, but those throws were pretty impressive. Jake's mechanics are also very consistent, and he has better athletic traits than I initially thought. Not sure why Jake doesn't have more college attention, though it doesn't seem like a ton of QBs are being offered at this moment.

Glad I got to evaluate Luke in person. He had a handful of great throws. Luke features an overhand throwing motion. The arm angle can differ slightly based on where he's throwing the ball, but in general, Luke's throwing motion is a tad longer and less snappy than others.

Still, Luke is able to generate solid power behind his throws, and his accuracy is pretty consistent. I even thought his timing on comebacks was good, but just a tad late on average. Luke looks to me like a college prospect at QB, with my initial gut feeling saying D3.

Another good outing for Nikkos. Dude can sling it.

Quick throwing motion, snappy release, and solid accuracy. Nikkos can make any throw at any time during a camp setting. It's obvious that he's a talented QB, and I'd expect a lot of D2s to be very interested in Nikkos. I heard his name a couple of times amongst college coaches.

I would not blame colleges for wanting to wait for the season to start, though. I expect Nikkos to perform extremely well this coming season, and after colleges get some game tape, I expect him to earn more attention. Already with a Wayne State offer, Nikkos is on his way.

Last time I evaluated Dom in person, he was still quite small, and did not look like a 'High Schooler'. Now, he's hit that growth spurt, and his body is finally catching up with his talent.

I just wrote about Dom a week ago, and he even earned some praise during 7on7 season from other PRZ scouts across the country.

Hitting some routes on air, Dom was able to flash his throw power from short and long distances. He's nearly on par with ranked seniors- just needs a little more time to grow. Dom's accuracy is what impresses me the most. He was consistently hitting receivers 15+ yards downfield, and during drillwork, consistently hitting his targets in the chest. Accuracy is one of those things that's extremely difficult to teach- Dom is excellent in this regard.

Still too early to predict college value, but again, Dom is absolutely on the right track.

I didn't go into this camp expecting to focus on QBs, but that's just how the cards fell. This group of QBs was simply too good to pass up. Here are my thoughts regarding five Michigan QBs at Eastern Michigan's Midweek MACtion.
