About Maxx

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a fast, smart, and aggressive quarterback. I use my legs when I need to, but I’m always looking to make the right read and get the ball to my playmakers. I’m a leader on the field, and I do whatever it takes to win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m competitive and confident, but I stay humble and always want to learn. I’m the kind of person who’s going to outwork everyone, and I take pride in being a great teammate and leader. I don’t back down from pressure I embrace it.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve really developed as a leader over the years on and off the field. I know how to bring people together and keep everyone focused on the same goal. Teamwork is everything to me and I always try to be the guy my teammates can count on. I’ve also been involved in helping out with younger athletes and giving back whenever I can because I know how much that kind of support meant to me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yeah, one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was coming back from a hip injury. It was tough not being able to move the way I was used to and having to miss reps and time on the field. But it taught me a lot about mental toughness, patience, and how to keep grinding even when things aren’t going your way. It honestly made me stronger and more locked in than ever.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that feels like family and pushes me to be my best on and off the field. Somewhere with strong academics, great coaching, and a competitive football program where I can grow as a player and a leader. I want to be around people who love the game like I do and are all about winning and getting better every day.

The Wheeling Park program steadily produces quarterbacks, and 2029 QB Maxx Taylor Maxx Taylor Maxx Taylor 5'9" | 140 lbs | QB Wheeling Park | 2029 WV could be the next in line for the Patriots. He did a nice job on their freshman team this season and showcased traits that will carry over into the future as he continues to develop. Taylor is elusive in the pocket and does a nice job of extending plays and using his legs as a plus athlete at the position. He has an unconventional throwing motion, but Taylor has nice touch on his passes and throws accurately.
