A new 2026 specialist to add to your recruiting boards from the first half of the season is Nitro’s Connor Strickland Connor Strickland 6'0" | 190 lbs | K Nitro | 2026 WV . He came out for football for his senior season with a soccer background, and has done a nice job for the Wildcats at a position they needed someone to step up at this year. Strickland is averaging over 52 yards on kickoffs with 8 touchbacks so far this season and has converted on 33/40 PAT attempts. He’s still raw as a football prospect and would level up his game as he irons out his footwork pre-kick and overall technique.
