Genovese is my breakout player this season for the Chaminade Flyers. I love his skillset, and he will take over as a true WR 1 this season. He is an elite route runner, who showcases, strong hips, and balanced route running allowing him to gain separation across the field. He is a talented athlete with good hands. He should be the main target for Carnevale this season and should be on his way to a breakout season.

Standing at 5’11” 170-Pounds, Genovese displays a solid frame for the WR position. On a stacked Chaminade roster, he was brought up to varsity as a Sophomore proving his talents.
Genovese mainly saw snaps in the slot, where he dominated opposing defenders with screens and sitting in zones. The Catholic AAA star has solid hands with good route running ability, making catches across the field look easy. He is elusive after the catch and showcased his body control through his YAC.
Genovese will start on varsity for the second straight season, where I expect a breakout performance due to an increase of snaps and targets.

Chaminade brought up Genovese as a sophomore last year despite them having some incredible talent at the position, so that says a lot to begin with. In a smaller role last season, Genovese still produced and had some key catches down the stretch. He has great hands and showcased his elusiveness and yards after catch ability during his sophomore campaign. He could have a breakout type of season.
