March Recruiting Report - Newest Offers, Commitments, and Visits

As we head further into the offseason, the recruiting world only keeps moving.   Today we are highlighting some of the newest offers, commitments, and visits across the state- these prospects are killing it right now on the recruiting trail and aren't stopping anytime soon.   As always, check out their tape below- this 2026 class is loaded and you won't want to miss these prospects before they're off to the next level!    [player_tooltip player_id='1622369' first='Khatori' last='Marion'] is a highly talented WR out of Baker who had a breakout season for them as a junior and is set up for an even bigger year this fall. Marion has great speed, body control, and an unreal set of hands, all of which help him make highlight reel catches all around the field. Marion plays with a ton of twitch and quickness, he gains tons of separation off his route running, can easily make defenders miss after the catch, and is just a shifty WR that can easily lose DBs downfield. Marion's elusiveness is the real deal, he really reminds me of former Baker star WR Bryce Cain with how well he uses his speed and twitch to carve up defenses. It's also impressive seeing how versatile of a playmaker he is both on offense and special teams- if you get him the ball, he's going to find a way to make plays. Marion is a game wrecker out wide but also consistently puts his team in great starting field position with how productive he is as a returner- it's really a valuable trait of his that will translate greatly to the next level. Last fall Marion produced all over the field for Baker, ending the year with 29 receptions for 452 yards and 5 TDs through the air, 12 carries for 77 yards and one TD on the ground, and several huge returns on special teams. Marion has had a lot of news surrounding him in the recruiting world over this past week- picking up offers from Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State, while also locking in an official visit to Appalachian State later this year. I'm a huge fan of Marion's tape and believe he has a huge season in store this fall- he's a really talented WR.      [player_tooltip player_id='1604806' first='Kaleb' last='Morris'] is a dominant DL prospect out of Mary G Montgomery who has become a huge part of what they do defensively. Morris is a force in the trenches every down. Morris is terrific at getting off the line of scrimmage, has quick, violent hands, and gets great penetration inside- consistently collapsing the pocket, pressuring the QB, and forcing bad decisions or taking them down for sacks. Morris is just as productive in the backfield against the run- he completely dominates the line of scrimmage, fights off blocks, and closes up rushing lanes to take down the ball carrier at a consistent rate. It's really impressive watching how much speed Morris plays with- he makes some terrific plays in pursuit and is constantly around the ball. Morris has been having a terrific offseason- picking up offers from big programs all over. Just this last week he's picked up offers from Kentucky, UCF, and Boston College– well also scheduling official visits with Oklahoma State and Memphis in May and June. I was seriously impressed with Morris's film and how dominant he has been for Mary G Montgomery- keep an eye on him this fall, he's only going to keep making huge plays.       Tristan Blackman is an explosive RB out of Prattville who has been terrific for their ground game over the last few seasons, carving up and making huge plays against defenses all across the state. At 6'2 205, Blackmon is physical, plays with a ton of speed, and has a well-rounded skill set he uses to dominate defenses. Blackmon is quick, has great vision, and has breakaway speed in the open field that allows him to break off massive plays on the ground, sometimes going completely untouched by defenders. Blackmon also has great contact balance- he can withstand hits really well and plays through defenders to gain every possible yard each carry. It shows up on his tape and in the stat sheet- Blackmon was incredibly productive all last year, ending his junior campaign with 115 carries for 695 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground, and 9 receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown as a receiver. Blackmon picked up a bunch of offers from some great programs earlier this off-season and has picked up more attention this past week. In the last few days, Blackman has picked up offers from Austin Peay and Murray State, bringing his total list up to 6! Be sure to watch out for Blackmon this fall, he's one of our top running backs in the state's 2026 class for a reason!      [player_tooltip player_id='1621627' first='Dadrien' last='Waller'] is an extremely gifted WR out of Guntersville who had a massive development in his recruitment today. At 6'5 200 Waller is great at pairing his size with his quickness, hands, and route running to make huge plays all around the field. Despite his size, Waller is shifty and a really talented route-runner- he gains lots of separation off a wide variety of routes at every level of the field. Once open, Waller has great hands he uses to make some incredibly impressive catches over the middle of the field, along the sideline, and over the tops of defenders. Waller is a monster after the catch. His size and speed make it incredibly hard for defenders to warp up and stop him, he's a physical athlete who takes multiple defenders to bring him down- it's one of his best traits. Something else that jumped off Waller's tape were his skills as a blocker- he dominates smaller DBs and will pave them into the dirt for his teammates, which is just another valuable skill he has at WR. All of this showed up on tape last fall as Waller had a terrific season- ending his junior year with 26 receptions for 700 yards and 6 touchdowns. After picking up offers from several great programs from all over, Waller narrowed down his decision and committed to Cincinnati today! I'm super excited to watch Waller this fall, and at the next level- he has serious potential as a pass catcher and does so many things super well.       Aaden Schamberger is a really talented QB out of Spanish Fort who is set up for a massive senior year this fall. Shamburger is a highly athletic QB capable of making huge plays with his legs- he's really quick, consistently makes defenders miss, and is great at following his blocks to come up with as much yardage as he can as a runner. As a passer, Shamburger is really proficient- he's quick at reading the field and has the arm talent to make difficult throws all over the field. It's really impressive watching how quickly Shamburger gets the ball out- he's excellent at finding open targets and not letting pressure arrive, consistently finding ways to move the chains every time he drops back. Shamburger had a big year last fall, ending his junior year with 79-132 completions for 853 yards and 8 touchdowns through the air, and 84 carries for 701 yards and 6 TDs on the ground. Shamburger announced some big news on Twitter today, picking up an in-state offer from North Alabama! I'm really excited to watch Spanish Fort's offense this fall with Shamburger heading into his senior season, he put together some great tape last year and is only going to keep getting better.       [player_tooltip player_id='538469' first='Jamarion' last='White'] is a highly talented  DE out of Tuscaloosa Academy who has seen his recruitment start to open up after his dominant season last fall. At 6'3 260 White has great size and plays with a ton of speed and physicality down in the trenches. White is especially dominant against the run, he does a great job eating up space and fighting off blocks to get to the ball carrier, consistently coming up with huge plays at and behind the line of scrimmage. It's really impressive watching White in pursuit- he is terrific at tracking and hunting down the ball carrier, working his way from the other side of the field to come up with huge stops. White is also reliable against the pass- he's excellent at gaining interior pressure and requires a lot of attention from offensive lines because of how disruptive he is. White was incredibly productive last season for Tuscaloosa Academy's defense- ending the year with 70 total tackles (29 solo, 9 for loss) in his team's state title run. After last season White picked up an offer from MTSU- and today he announced he now visiting them in April. I was super impressed with White's tape last season, he's a dominant force on Tuscaloosa Academy's defensive front with a huge year ahead of him.
