Over the weekend, Waller picked up another offer from Mississippi State!

Waller is currently committed to Cincinnati- I’m interested in seeing if playing in the SEC is something that could change his mind moving forward. We’ll have to keep an eye out moving forward.

At 6’5 200 Waller is great at pairing his size with his quickness, hands, and route running to make huge plays all around the field. Despite his size, Waller is shifty and a really talented route-runner- he gains lots of separation off a wide variety of routes at every level of the field. Once open, Waller has great hands he uses to make some incredibly impressive catches over the middle of the field, along the sideline, and over the tops of defenders. Waller is a monster after the catch. His size and speed make it incredibly hard for defenders to warp up and stop him, he’s a physical athlete who takes multiple defenders to bring him down- it’s one of his best traits. Something else that jumped off Waller’s tape were his skills as a blocker- he dominates smaller DBs and will pave them into the dirt for his teammates, which is just another valuable skill he has at WR. All of this showed up on tape last fall as Waller had a terrific season- ending his junior year with 26 receptions for 700 yards and 6 touchdowns. After picking up offers from several great programs from all over, Waller narrowed down his decision and committed to Cincinnati today! I’m super excited to watch Waller this fall, and at the next level- he has serious potential as a pass catcher and does so many things super well.

Waller is massive and is a matchup nightmare for DBs across the state- at 6’5 200 he is extremely quick and has great hands, making huge plays all around the field. Waller is a great route runner and has a set of super reliable hands- he makes some terrific catches over the middle of the field, along the sideline, and over the tops of defenders, it’s seriously impressive to watch. after the catch, Waller is a monster- with his size and speed, good luck trying to tackle him in the open field. Waller easily requires 2-3 defenders to bring him down, and if they do, he’s already racked up plenty of yards before then. Something else that jumped off Waller’s tape was his blocking- he dominates smaller DBs and blocks them into the dirt, just another valuable skill he has that makes him a more complete WR. Waller was terrific last season, ending his year with 26 receptions for 700 yards and 6 touchdowns. With how well he’s played, Waller has seen his recruitment open up a ton recently- picking up offers from Jacksonville State, UAB, Tulane, and plenty of others.
