Expert Analysis
Josh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Marion continues to validate his reputation as one of the most explosive offensive weapons in the state, stringing together back-to-back 100-yard games. He’s a true vertical separator with home-run speed, and his elite change of direction makes him dangerous on designed runs or when creating yards after the catch. Marion combines precise route pacing with natural tracking skills, allowing him to consistently win on deep shots and in-space matchups against slower defenders.

Khatori Marion Khatori Marion 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Baker | 2026 State AL is an explosive WR for Baker who’s dominated nearly every secondary he’s faced this year.
“Marion has great speed, body control, and an unreal set of hands, all of which help him make highlight reel catches all around the field. Marion plays with a ton of twitch and quickness, he gains tons of separation off his route running, can easily make defenders miss after the catch, and is just a shifty WR that can easily lose DBs downfield.
Marion’s elusiveness is the real deal; he really reminds me of former Baker star WR Bryce Cain with how well he uses his speed and twitch to carve up defenses. It’s also impressive seeing how versatile of a playmaker he is both on offense and special teams- if you get him the ball, he’s going to find a way to make plays.“
Marion was unstoppable against a really talented MGM defense. He hauled in 9 receptions for 182 yards and 4 TDs and made it look easy.
I’ve been really impressed with Marion’s play this season. His blend of speed and twitch make him such a tough WR to stop. Be sure to check out some of his clips below:

A week ago, Marion announced he’d committed to South Alabama! He’ll be an instant contributor down in Mobile; make sure you keep track of him this fall and on at the next level.

Khatori Marion Khatori Marion 5'11" | 170 lbs | WR Baker | 2026 State AL is a highly talented WR out of Baker who had a breakout season for them as a junior and is set up for an even bigger year this fall. Marion has great speed, body control, and an unreal set of hands, all of which help him make highlight reel catches all around the field. Marion plays with a ton of twitch and quickness, he gains tons of separation off his route running, can easily make defenders miss after the catch, and is just a shifty WR that can easily lose DBs downfield. Marion is a game wrecker out wide but also consistently puts his team in great starting field position with how productive he is as a returner- it’s really a valuable trait of his that will translate greatly to the next level. Last fall Marion produced all over the field for Baker, ending the year with 29 receptions for 452 yards and 5 TDs through the air, 12 carries for 77 yards and one TD on the ground, and several huge returns on special teams. Marion has had a lot of news surrounding him in the recruiting world over this past week- picking up offers from Eastern Kentucky and Jacksonville State, while also locking in an official visit to Appalachian State later this year. I’m a huge fan of Marion’s tape and believe he has a huge season in store this fall- he’s a really talented WR.
