Jones brings two-phase value that should immediately draw recruiting interest—legitimate next-level speed with the ability to win vertically as a receiver, and the defensive instincts to play corner with confidence. He plays bigger than his frame suggests, high-points the ball naturally and expands his catch radius in contested situations. As a route runner, he consistently attacks blind spots, showing a feel for pacing and leverage manipulation uncommon at the high school level. After the catch, he’s fluid and creative—burst in space, wiggle in tight areas, and the acceleration to erase pursuit angles.
Defensively, he tackles cleanly and competes through the catch point, the kind of dual-tool prospect who gives a roster immediate flexibility. A sleeper in this class who checks the athletic and instinctual boxes required to play early.

is a really gifted WR out of Baker who made a ton of plays against some talented defenses last season. Jones has great speed and acceleration at WR- once he secures catches in the open field it’s difficult for defenses to catch up to him. Jones has a talented set of hands he uses to make tough catches all around the field, he’s hauled in some incredible catches along the sideline, deep downfield, and that were heavily contested. Jones is capable of taking shorter routes to the house, he’s an explosive threat out wide that everyone’s going to have to keep track of next season. Jones was one of the top receivers in Baker’s offense last fall, ending the year with 49 receptions for 661 yards and 4 touchdowns. Be sure to watch Jones’ tape below- he can make a ton of plays out wide and has a ton of potential!

is a junior wide receiver out of Baker that has put together a really good year so far this season. Jones has helped Baker’s passing attack immensely- he’s got a great set of hands and finds ways to move the chains every time he takes the field. Jones plays with a ton of speed and physicality that makes it difficult for opposing defensive backs to stop him. He has a great release off the line of scrimmage, can run a variety of routes well, and consistently wins matchups with defensive backs for the ball. Last week, Jones came up huge in his team’s 47-0 shutout of Robertsdale. Baker did an excellent job passing the ball in this game and made sure Jones got his fair share- he ended the game with 5 receptions for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns. It’s been really impressive watching Jones in this game- he’s become a legit weapon in this Baker offense and is going to continue to dominate opposing secondaries throughout the rest of this season. Watch out for him going forward, you won’t want to miss it!
