Throughout this season, Wheeler has been a huge difference-maker on the ground. He’s such a versatile playmaker out of the backfield. Vigor will have to watch out for him this week.

Wheeler had another huge week against Robertsdale, racking up 10 carries for 128 yards and 2 TDs.

I’ve been a big fan of Wheeler’s this season. He’s found a ton of success in Baker’s rushing attack and continues to produce against whoever he’s up against. Make sure you watch some of his clips below:

Thames lives up to his nickname with an explosive burst at the line of scrimmage. His sudden cuts, active feet, and ability to make defenders miss at all three levels make him a constant big-play threat. Thames combines vision, footwork, and elusiveness in both open field and tight spaces, while his hands out of the backfield give him added versatility. Already a proven playmaker, he projects as one of the premier backs in the 2026 class.

Wheeler has been explosive in every sense of the word. It’s been seriously impressive watching him play like he has; no team/defense has found a way to slow him down this season.

He can easily change his direction, make defenders miss, and stay on his feet no matter who is in front of him- it’s seriously impressive to watch.“

Theodore couldn’t find a way to stop Wheeler. He was terrific at every spot of the field, breaking off long TD runs down the sideline and powering through the middle in short yardage situations as well.

In total, Wheeler racked up 23 carries for 184 yards and 3 TDs on the ground, and 2 catches for 21 yards receiving.

Baker has a ton of offensive firepower this season. I’m really excited to see how they and Wheeler do the rest of this year; we’re going to have to look out.
