Good athletic ability due to very good speed, balance, good acceleration, and change of direction. Petree uses his very good vision to pick, slide, and accelerate into the hole. Very good inside running and outside running. He thrives with contact, consistently creating yards after contact. It takes multiple defenders to take him down. He’s a great downhill linebacker. Very good read and reaction speed. Good range from sideline to sideline. Very good tackler and run support. Good blitz take off and a good bull rush as well.
