Gulick delivered a standout performance in Round 2, showcasing the motor and physicality that anchor Mountain Vista’s defensive identity. He finished with 12 total tackles, including a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry, proving he can impact plays behind the line and in space. Gulick consistently diagnosed blocking schemes, filled lanes with urgency and disrupted the timing. His ability to scrape over top of the formation and close ground quickly allowed him to halt several drives before they gained momentum. As Mountain Vista prepares for a challenging next round, Gulick’s instincts and toughness will be essential. His playmaking makes him as a key factor for this defensive momentum moving forward.
