Charlie Baxter is one of my favorite quarterback talents in all classes but specifically the 2029 class. Baxter shows he can throw the ball from the pocket, can throw it accurately and timely with a ton of velocity on the run. Baxter is athletic and can hurt you in many ways. He’s one of Georgia’s best signal callers already and I believe he will elevate his game this season!

Baxter is one I want to monitor closely as he continues to speed up now that he is older in the system. Baxter is going to be one of the top players in the state of Georgia yet again.

Passing yards is one of the more important stats that there is to have when it comes to the quarterback position, which is something that Baxter made the most of. He led the state with a total of 2,737 passing yards. This was the most as a freshman last season, and he did that with the Christian Heritage Lions. He is bound to have another great season in 2026, which is something worth monitoring. He is a hard worker of his craft, and it shows on the field. Baxter is someone who can throw it with the best of them and he can use his legs in times of need. He is excellent on the scramble to buy time and still deliver the ball where it needs to be in a timely manner. High IQ quarterback, Baxter is the real deal!

Baxter has an amazing work ethic, working on his craft and showcasing it on the gridiron. Baxter has one of the best arm talents in the state and he has a great ability to make plays by extending them. Baxter is someone I believe is going to have a massive 2026 year and do not be surprised if he’s setting and breaking some records along the way!

Baxter is special. He’s another one who can throw from different angles and make plays on the fly. He can really extend plays and buy time while looking to make a big play for his team, he’s done it time and time again and he’s going to do it a lot more. He’s got a high IQ and a bright, bright season ahead of him.

A mobile quarterback with a live arm and natural playmaking ability, Baxter is an impressive young passer in the state who shined all season long in year one Christian Heritage. One of the leading passers in the 2029 class, Baxter is a multi-sport star at 6-foot-0 180-pounds who threw for an impressive 2,737 yards and 23 touchdowns. He brings a gunslinger mindset that can get him into trouble, but he’ll get better with his decision making the more he plays. Baxter also ran for an eye-opening 1,358 yards and 17 more scores. He’s dynamic with his legs but showed he can beat defenses both with his legs and with his arm. As good as he was in year one, look for Baxter to be even better in 2026. He’s currently ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 4 QB prospect in the state for the 2029 class.

Baxter was awesome for the Lions this year, and he will have the chance to be even better. He finished the season as a top player in the area. Baxter has a lot of positives coming his way, and with a solid wide receiver core, he has the chance to become a top-end guy in the state. Baxter has all of the tools and is someone who will improve over time. Baxter showed in his first year that he can make plays, but entering this next season, he will have a set of different tasks as he will be expected to make bigger plays with his legs and downfield. If Baxter enters this next season even better than he finished it, then he will be pushing for the best QB in the 2029 class title inside the Peach State.

Baxter can throw it with the best of them and can escape when he has to. He can extend and deliver and that’s one of many things I like about his game. Baxter was special this season and he’s going to be even more special next season!
