Georgia Small School Prospect Report: Week 3

He is a lean, athletic player who has D1 basketball offers under his belt. He has more than desirable length and traits to stick at corner. He is quick to react and can climb the ladder to play the ball. He went for 125 in a high-scoring win over Sonoraville. He is still a little raw, running upright and finding confidence as a runner, but that only signals upside to me, because he is naturally tough to tackle at his size. I love his patience, letting his blocks develop and do the work while he doesn't unnecessarily peel off his path. He is a downhill runner with the explosiveness to lift off and create in space. He tapped into different levels of touch and also made plays on the move as a passer. He plays bigger than listed, powering through his routes and showcasing the ability to contour his body and make plays in a crowd. He has improved each year on varsity and has grown into himself well. He is a lean, athletic passer at 6'2 180, with an elastic, live arm. He is capable of pushing the ball behind safeties, but I am also impressed with his ability to layer the ball into hard-to-reach intermediate areas. Brown generated national attention for his performance, as he should. He picked up some traction this offseason, and is continuing to play himself onto the radar. Mingle has the speed to lift off, but he is fluid and can weave in and out of running lanes, too. He is getting it done as a playmaker at QB, but projects as a skill player, possibly at the FBS level.
