If MaxPreps is correct, Mingle had 177 passing yards, 3 TDs, 52 rushing yards, and 3 INTs. He picked up some traction this offseason, and is continuing to play himself onto the radar. Mingle has the speed to lift off, but he is fluid and can weave in and out of running lanes, too. He is getting it done as a playmaker at QB, but projects as a skill player, possibly at the FBS level. I would pay close attention here.

A dual-threat quarterback who has been outstanding on the ground this year, Mingle is an explosive runner who loves to test a defense with his legs. He brings plenty of arm talent too, but we’ll include him in this group due to his ability to really change games on the ground. The dynamic, small-town athlete has run for 425 yards and seven touchdowns. Just a freshman, Mingle’s natural talent and impressive speed make him one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks across the state in the 2029 class.

Another dual-threat quarterback to keep a close eye on moving forward, Mingle may not be lighting up the stat sheet right now, but his talent and potential is easy to see. He’s played a lot as a freshman and his athleticism is off the charts. He moves at a different level and has a chance to be one of the better small-town quarterbacks across the state if he keeps improving as a passer and continues adding weight. He shows promising arm talent and has thrown for 220 yards and two touchdowns through his first two games. He’ll be an easy addition to the next 2029 Prep Redzone rankings this winter.
