Expert Analysis

I am an absolutely huge fan of Wiggins and believe he will continue to be a candidate for top GA QB in the 2029 class if he grows the way we think he will. He is still on the thinner side with room to get bigger, but he is loose, wiry, and has such a natural pace and feel as a passer. He gets the ball out quickly with easy spin. I love the poise and production as well for his age. In space, as a runner, he can shift his weight and change his direction. He picked up a January offer from Samford, but I think there are FBS and P4 offers on the way for him at some point.

A Middle Georgia quarterback who lit up the state sheet last year, Wiggins certainly didn’t look like your typical freshman last season when he was slinging the ball up and down the field on a weekly basis. The gifted passer from Macon threw for over 2,000 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also ran for 315 yards and one more touchdown. A multi-sport standout with natural athleticism, Wiggins showed terrific arm talent last season and the ability to make plays outside of the pocket. He’s mobile, can throw accurately on the run, and can throw with touch down the field as well. He’s an easy Power Four talent who should be even better next year as a sophomore. He’s ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 3 QB in the state.

A dynamic dual-threat quarterback in Middle Georgia, Wiggins is a strong athlete with a lean 6-foot-1 170-pound frame. He can move, throw on the run, and shows impressive ball placement. He has one of the better arms in the region and has made this year that you rarely see for someone his age. He’s a playmaker who has thrown for 472 yards and seven touchdowns through his first three games while rushing for 75 more yards and one more score. He should see a big jump in the next Prep Redzone rankings and see some major Power Four offers come his way down the road.

After a productive start to his HS career, Jordan Wiggins Jordan Wiggins 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Northeast | 2029 State GA jumped on my radar. Long, thin athlete just kicking off his physical development. Traitsy player who is a natural arm talent. He has dual-threat ability with his legs and is capable of sinking his hips and exploding when changing direction. Really impressed with his poise under pressure and ability to mix up touch and trajectory at this phase. Wiggins is beyond his years as a processor and has plenty of upside athletically, giving him a chance to develop into one of the better 2029 QB prospects in Georgia.

Every great team needs a general, and Jordan Wiggins Jordan Wiggins 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Northeast | 2029 State GA commands the huddle like he’s been there for years. The Northeast quarterback is as cool as the other side of the pillow under pressure, reading defenses pre-snap and adjusting on the fly. His arm talent allows him to hit tight windows, and his mobility forces defenses to account for him outside the pocket. Jordan doesn’t just throw to open receivers — he throws them open. Expect him to light up box scores and raise a few eyebrows from college recruiters this season.
