Sims was one of the best 2028 at the entire tournament just based on his physique alone—he will continue to grow, and that’s why he is a TE/DE prospect, but he played mostly a WR position at the tournament.
Sims has a really high ceiling as an athlete. His ability to move, how loose his lower half is, and his vertical all stood out at different points of the tournament. I really liked what I saw from Sims, who was playing up with the 18u.
He is from Irvington, NY, and is one of the best young prospects in the state. He plays his high school ball at Suffield Academy, which had a few really talented NY prospects on its roster last season.
