is prospect on this list that has an incredible upside on both sides of the ball. I’ve gone back and forth on where he projects more for months. In recent film he looks like like a natural as an Offensive Tackle; On the other hand, he could turn into a massive interior DT and/or possibly an Edge. Also finished his first year of wrestling, winning a Blount County title. How he fills out and how much he improves his overall coordination, will go a long way to dictating what position(s) he ends up being recruited at.

could become is the biggest thing that should have the next level(s) excited. While the weather unfortunately delayed my opportunity to check him out at the PRZ Next Middle School Combine in May 2025, I did get a chance to talk to him there. He’s thicker and stronger than his height and weight would suggest. On top of his physical gifts, he’s a kid that you can count on to show up and give maximum effort at all times–he has a quiet leadership quality, too. On top of football, in his first year ever wrestling, he finished this year as the the top 220-pounder in Blount County and in the Region, before earning a Top-7 finish in the state.

- Listing himself at 6-foot-4 and 200-pounds, when looking at film of Alcoa’s Middle School team, Carnegie is not a difficult prospect to identify at Left Tackle.
- Looking at the group in this writeup, Carnegie doesn’t have the significant weight of the others as of October 2024. However, the lone Blount County native certainly has the frame to hopefully put on at least 40-60 more pounds before high school is over.
- My biggest take away from his film is the unrelenting effort Carnegie displays on every snap. There are several clips of him sprinting downfield to throw additional blocks to help his ball carrier–something that will make any coach a very happy man.
