Middleton Jr. has a strong arm with the ability to push the football down field to stretch the defense. His mechanics are clean and he engages his hips to get extra torque on his throws. He is athletic in the pocket with the ability to evade the rush, he throws well on the move and he has the running ability to make plays with his feet to move the chains. He has the chance to compete for playing time at Desoto in the fall and he has the skill set to be the next dominate signal caller for the Eagles.
