There was a lot of running the football on Friday night but nobody's carries proved to be more important than Johnson's. The Cavs senior ball carrier and current top 15 ranked running back by #PRZTN had some big time runs in the second half that were difference makers, especially one in the 4th quarter that ended up being the game winner. What stood out the most about Johnson was his grit and fight to gain every yard he could anytime the ball was in his hands. His combination of power and speed were too tough for the Warriors defense as Johnson wore them down throughout the duration of the game. His stock certainly rose in my eyes as someone that could sneak his way into D1 conversation before the next cycle begins.

If Cookeville didn't pull out the win, Pinion would have been your player of the game. The Warriors senior quarterback was near unstoppable on Friday night where he ran all over the Cavs defense for 246 yards on the ground while also throwing for three scores in the air. A dynamic playmaker with tremendous speed, Pinion was very difficult to handle for the Cavaliers defense due to that speed and his unique feel for finding open lanes. He also contributed several key passes on the night, especially one in the 4th quarter that put his team down by eight. Even though the Warriors lost this game, Pinion continued to build his Mr. Football stock in a major way as he ran all over a 6A defense on the road and almost ran his team to victory.

Going both ways for his Cavaliers team, Owen was steady as can be Friday night where he ran for almost 140 yards and two touchdowns while making several key stops, tackles on defense. It was a warrior's like game from Owen against White Co. as he took tons of big hits but kept coming back and producing throughout the night. His work on offense was definitely a key factor behind the win but I feel his work on defense was more important. Some of the tackles he made were on 3rd down, which stopped the Warriors offensive drive and he did this on several occasions. His future in college is at linebacker and his work at this position on Friday evening continued to show me why he has strong upside for defense and sits as one of the best available linebacker prospects from our #TN2025 class.

This was Hoane's best showing yet this 2024 season. He absolutely dominated his side of the field by displacing his competition backwards and opening holes for his backs. The offensive line as a whole had an excellent night but Hoane showed out with his power, ability to get off the line fast and move his guy back while showing the athleticism to potentially handle tackle on the college level. This is a tenacious ball player that loves competing and being physical. Hoane looks the part too, so he brings a lot of talent and traits to the playing field that screams college upside. More performances like Friday night and you will see Power Four schools start to extend offers.

(DB/WR) Darvon Richmond - White Co.: Richmond didn't put up big numbers but it was his play on defense that landed him here. He locked down one side of the field the entire night while producing the first offensive touchdown for his Warriors team.

‘26 (LB) Evan Banks - Cookeville: Banks was a fun player to watch Friday night as he was very active from his inside backer spot where he made several tackles at or behind the line of scrimmage. This is an aggressive ball player that shows good instincts for finding the ball.

(WR/S) Gage Stephenson - White Co.: The most dependable receiver for the Warriors was this senior two-way prospect that hauled in 5 receptions while producing one touchdown. He provided some strong snaps on defense as well, playing against a strong Cavs run game.

(TE/DE) Wes Hudson - Cookeville: Within the Cavaliers front seven, Hudson was an active force throughout the night, making several plays/tackles near the line of scrimmage while also coming up big several times on 3rd down defense.

‘27 (DE/LB) [player_tooltip player_id='1566184' first='Landon' last='McCarter'] - Cookeville: McCarter is a name to know moving forward as he impressed on Friday evening with his motor and athletic pass rush. He sports good height and length as well as a frame to pack on more size. His ability to rush the passer will put him on the radar for college coaches somewhere down the road.

‘27 (DL) [player_tooltip player_id='1617402' first='Lex' last='Winfree'] - White Co.: It was a battle all night for Winfree, competing against that potent Cookeville rushing attack but he held up just fine, making several plays at or behind the line of scrimmage while occasionally flashing his pass rush.
