Manti isn't the first Casuga to be recognized on Prep Redzone Next, as he's the younger brother of highly-sought after 2026 QB [player_tooltip player_id='212444' first='Helaman' last='Casuga']--who earned a spot on our National Watchlist three years ago when he was in 8th grade. Getting back to [player_tooltip player_id='1382672' first='Manti' last='Casuga'], he's a speedy WR prospect who knows how to get open downfield. He played last season up against high school freshman, despite being just in 7th grade. Looking forward to his 8th grade season in 2024, when looking at his length, hands and ability to track the ball...as of August 2024, I see no reason why he won't be an early offer kid

Impressive looking prospect who is just starting his 8th grade school year/season. Can affect the game in all three phases--as he returns kick/punts and also play Defensive Back, in addition to Wide Receiver. Has a great build and long arms. On film I love his ability to accelerate while running his routes, then decelerate as he gets into his break, only to turn up the speed again and create separation to receive a pass.

It's very early in the 2024-2025 season/cycle, but as of August 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1370550' first='Jordan' last='Alexander'] is the top WR I've seen in Colorado for this class of 2029. He's physically impressive with more than adequate muscle mass on a great frame. His hands, feet and agility are all way better than the majority--likely a benefit from all the time he spends on the basketball court. He's a physical mismatch against most DBs in Colorado. The Cherry Creek program has a tried and true tradition of producing next-level prospects and Alexander looks poised to become part of the tradition.

In the Pacific Northwest there are always extremely talented players on the pre-high school level and this year is no different. Kehano Corpuz is suiting up for the HEIR Academy this season and he looks poised to follow in the footsteps of 2028 Wide Receiver, Jayse Halasz who has moved onto Graham-Kapowsin for high school. As of August 2024, Corpuz isn't as tall and long as Halasz was at this point last year, but he he's equally as explosive on the outside.

A prospect with a heck of a story and background, you can't help but root for him. Rayford decided to reclass ahead of this season and is hitting the ground running. He's the only non-pure Wide Receiver in this write up, because he often lines up as a Running Back and is Sauce Gardner-like as a Cornerback. He's reportedly grown two inches since I last saw him in December and is now up to 6-foot-2--which why I feel the move to WR may eventually come. After being a younger member of the 13U Las Vegas AYF All-Stars in 2023, Rayford is back with the Vegas Strong squad and has to be one of the early contenders for a spot in the AYF National 8th grade All-Star Game in February 2025.
