Ethan is a smooth route runner and a highly productive receiver for Davie County. He impressed me when I saw him in person at our Prep RedZone camp earlier this spring. Ethan displays strong hands and a willingness to make tough catches over the middle of the field for big plays consistently. Last year Ethan totaled 56 catches for 923 yards and 12 touchdowns - I think a 1000 yard season this year is definitely within reach. Ethan is long overdue for some recruiting attention in my opinion.

A strong off-season of hard work and development is what got my attention about Prince. Prince showed off his hard work and earned an offer from Gardner-Webb with an excellent camp performance in person. I think the only thing holding back college recruiters is seeing Prince replicate his camp performance in the first few games of the upcoming season. If Prince is able to put together a strong early season film, I think we will have a rise in recruiting interest and potential offers for this young man. Young runs very good routes and shows a burst coming out of his catches and getting upfield.

Morin has grown an inch and added 15 pounds since the end of last season, a result of hard work and dedication to his craft. I watched Morin during a spring practice to Mooresville, and he looked especially faster and fluid, holding up with his QB [player_tooltip player_id='612118' first='Brody' last='Norman'] on multiple deep passes against a strong Blue Devils defense. Morin has had some college interest from a recruiting perspective, but that has not translated into offers just yet. Morin was selected as an All-Conference player last season, and with a lot of the offense returning, I'd bet he can repeat that again this year.

I have talked about Kelson a couple of times before, and it was no doubt in my mind he deserved to be ranked as one of the best receiving prospects in his class. It will be interesting to see how the reigning state champions use Kelson, but the one thing I know is whatever he does with the football he will be fast, electricity shifty, and display incredible effort. I think recruiting attention will take a little longer because of college measurables and such, but if a college looks at the tape and sees the incredible athleticism here, they could get in early on getting a steal for their program.

With an offer from UNC Pembroke in hand, I had a chance to speak with Javonte in person recently at a Fayetteville Area Media Day. I was very impressive - he has already been named a captain for his team, reflective of the trust he receives from his coaches and teammates. At 6'0 and 170 pounds, Javonte is a reliable option for the Buccaneers and has a knack for making big plays in big games. Showing very good speed and strong hands, I think Javonte is well on his way to earning even more recruiting attention this season.
