There were just a handful of QBs in Georgia up for this one, but I am hedging my bets on Air Noland. Noland might not tip the scale when it comes to arm talent and athleticism, but he is more than equipped in those categories to get the job done. There is physical upside as well, coming in at 6’3 190. Where Noland really separates himself for me is his sheer knowledge and feel for the game. He is calm when going through his progressions and can find open receivers when the play breaks down. Noland will have a plethora of options at his disposal at Ohio State and has a good shot of reaping the rewards.

Noland stood out because he has a very quick release and the ball jumps out of his hand. He had good timing with the receivers on his pro day workout and put a lot of zip on the short routes.
He showed he can throw off-platform in the pro day when he rolled to his right and hit the receiver in stride at the pylon.
Noland is also very personable and the coaches raved about the way he conducted himself at the event.

Prentiss Noland completed 10 of 15 passes for two touchdowns with zero interceptions on Friday.
The Ohio State commit did well in the accuracy challenge too and was the only lefty at the event.
Noland was given a 41 score on day two and in my opinion had one of the most impressive throws of the day on throw five. He was in the top 10 on the accuracy challenge with a score of 37 as well.

Prentiss Noland or “Air” Noland, was the only lefty at the event and he impressed me with his arm talent.
I had him making 18 of the 20 throws accurately and one was borderline that I may have been harsh with. The most difficult throw of the day for all the quarterbacks was the fifth one, a rollout throw to the pylon, and he had to make it rolling to his weaker side and he nailed the throw.
He was accurate to all three levels and had a lot of zip on the underneath throws. There was a lot of hype about his accuracy and it was evident on Thursday night. Rivals had him as the MVP of night one of the event and in my opinion he was a top five guy on night two.

Noland ended his high school career in fashion! He did something that no other quarterback done in Langston High School history, and that’s bring home a state title. Noland threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns to help No. 1-ranked Hughes win its first state championship. Noland completed 18 of 21 passes and closed the game with 13 straight connections. Noland also ran for the final first down that enabled the Panthers to run out the clock and end the game.
