Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the fastest-rising young cornerback prospects Southwest of Atlanta, Perry is a ball-hawk with natural instincts in coverage. Just a sophomore, Perry showed he can be a top cover-corner and play on an island as he held his own all season long against really impressive receivers. Perry continues to grow physically and brings a promising 6-foot-3 175-pound frame to the Langston Hughes secondary. He’s technically sound, plays with confidence, and earned a new major offer this week from the Tennessee Vols. In 2025 Perry made 33 total tackles and broke up seven passes with one pick-six in coverage. Look for him to see a significant bump in the next rankings update.

Read EvaluationMatt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A long, athletic cornerback just south of Atlanta who locked down receivers all season long, Perry brings outstanding size and length for his age at 6-foot-2 170-pounds who really shined in coverage last season. Just a sophomore, Perry proves last season that he’s easily one of the top 2028 defensive backs in the Atlanta area. The playmaking defender made 33 tackles, broke up seven passes, and picked off one pass. He’s consistent, plays fast, and should see a boost in the next 2028 Prep Redzone rankings. Perry recently earned an offer from Vanderbilt and should see more come his way sooner than later.
