The Chandler Wolves head into another season aiming high once again under head coach Rick Garretson. This program went 8-3 last season, making the Open Division playoffs for the fifth year in a row since the playoff bracket's inception, but lost to Highland in the first round. The expectation at Chandler is always to win, and with new players coming in and young players stepping into more significant roles, it will be no different in 2024. This roster features many talented players that this article will focus solely on the offense for the Wolves.

Here are key weapons on the Chandler offense to watch out for:

2026 Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='401158' first='Dominic' last='Carmigiano'] has all the attributes and signs to be a star for this Chandler offense. With an excellent frame, standing at 6'3 180lbs, he has the traits to succeed if given the opportunity this season. Only notching a few stats last season in a blowout game, but went 4 for 4 on pass attempts and had a passing TD in that game, suggesting good things have yet to come. His release and touch on the ball are smooth off his hands, having just the right amount of power and velocity for his receivers to bring in. He displays intelligence and decisiveness with his throws, making the correct reads, which is a vital characteristic to have at the QB position. Heading into 2024 with Carmigiano at the helm of this offense will be a real treat.

2025 Offensive Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1339386' first='Michael' last='Cook'] will be one of many dominant big men of the interior of this offensive line for the Wolves offense. Standing at a 6'4 305lb frame, the senior had snaps all over the offensive line but predominantly lined up at the guard position. Cook gets after it, no matter if it is a run or pass, battling at the line of scrimmage with fierce toughness and excellent physicality. He can get great interior push on defensive linemen, opening up wide holes in the A and B-gaps for ball carriers to cruise through. The senior recently picked up an offer from Wisconsin-River Falls and looks to snag a few more before the end of the year.

2025 Offensive Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1116449' first='Isaiah' last='Garcia'] will be another versatile big man in the trenches for Chandler to utilize. The 6'1 280lb lineman was featured at both the guard and center position last season for the Wolves. He gets outstanding push in the run game, able to move defensive linemen well off the line of scrimmage, giving his offense plenty of room to maneuver. He gets tremendous hand placement in pass protection on rushers, followed by great lateral movement, leveraging his body to always be in front of the defender. He has phenomenal hustle with his frame, not unknown to getting downfield laying blocks in the second level or beyond for his teammates. Garcia most recently received an offer from Lewis and Clark. A leader for this unit up front, look for Garcia as the critical big man for Chandler to run an efficient offense.

Another big man to fill out a dominant offensive line will be 2026 Offensive Lineman [player_tooltip player_id='992786' first='Blake' last='Speer']. At a good 6'5 270lb frame, he played snaps at both tackle positions but mainly at right tackle for the Wolves. He leverages his body incredibly well on reach blocks, getting great hand placement on defenders and fully turning his body to seal the edge for the ball carrier to run in space. In pass protection, he has good lateral movement and agility to keep up with speedy rushers and powerful upper body strength to knock them off course if they are not balanced. Heading into his junior year, Speer will look to improve upon his previous season in order to put himself on the map.

2025 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='368939' first='Carter' last='Ochoa'] will be one of the most entertaining receivers to watch on Friday nights in the state. This is because with his 5'10 170lb build, the slot receiver plays way bigger than his size might indicate. He brought in 37 catches for 495 yards and 4 TDs last season for Chandler. He had one of the most electrifying plays in a postseason game against Highland in 2023 off a screen play, exemplifying his speed, toughness, and elusive ability in the open field. When he does meet contact, he is incredibly hard to bring down with magnificent leg drive and grit, almost like he is playing heavier than his list weight. Glancing towards his senior season, Ochoa will be a massive piece of this team's success.

2027 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='591191' first='Jai' last='Jones'] will be a new, young weapon on the outside for the Chandler Wolves. The Corona transfer saw significant playing time already at the wide receiver position for the Aztecs. Putting up numbers such as 35 catches for 305 yards and a TD was a fantastic first year campaign. He has a well-rounded game early in his time playing the sport with great route running, high pointing ability, and spectacular downfield speed, taking the top off the defense. He also already has excellent elusive ability at the position, making multiple defenders miss with ease as he continues getting yards after catch. Jones has various D1 offers with his most recent offer from Washington, as he is one of the highest recruited underclassmen in the state. In his young high school career, Jones entering this Chandler system will be an intriguing watch when he sees the field.

Another up and coming weapon for this Wolves offense to tap into will be 2026 Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id='401150' first='Brayden' last='Nesbitt']. Last season, he played most of his snaps at the junior varsity level at all wide receiver positions but mainly out wide. He developed as a well-rounded player throughout that season and into spring ball this year. He is a fluid, smooth athlete coming out of his break, favoring a comeback route the previous season getting outstanding separation. He is a one-on-one mismatch if given the opportunity downfield, having excellent body control when adjusting to the football and sound hands to reel in catches for his team. Nesbitt is now ready to show off his skills at the highest level for the Chandler offense.
