is about as well-rounded as they come. He’s got the size to win physically, but still moves well enough to challenge DBs vertically and make plays in space. His routes are polished and purposeful, and he understands how to set defenders up, using sharp angles, tempo changes, and well-timed breaks to create separation. He doesn’t just run a route — he works defenders with intention, reading leverage and adjusting on the fly like someone who’s been doing this at a high level for a while. There’s a maturity in how he sees the field. He knows where the soft spots are, how to drift into space, and when to break things off early or sit in a zone. It’s not just physical tools — it’s the mental side that really jumps out. It felt like every rep he took, he found a way to make himself open, and his quarterback clearly trusted him. It’s no surprise he’s already getting plenty of college attention — he looks not just talented, but refined and ready to produce from day one at the next level.

Jones isn’t just showing promise — he’s already proving it against top-tier competition. Playing for Chandler in the Premiere Region (before the regions got all moved around this offseason) means you’re going against the best, and Jones is more than holding his own. He’s got those long arms and reliable hands that make him a go-to target in tight windows, and he plays with the kind of poise that makes you forget he’s not even an upperclassman yet. The work he’s put into the little things this offseason isn’t going unnoticed. His footwork is sharper, his routes are more refined, and he’s starting to create separation with ease thanks to some added burst and explosiveness off the line. He’s physical when he needs to be, smooth when it counts, and there’s a maturity to his game that’s rare for his age. He doesn’t just run his route — he understands how to find space, how to make himself available, and how to win in different ways. Don’t be surprised if he takes over as one of Chandler’s primary playmakers sooner rather than later — he’s already playing like one.

Jones checks in as the #3 overall prospect and the top ranked WR in the 2027 class. All the physical tools major D1 colleges look for in a receiver he possesses with his blend of length, speed, and ball skills. Excellent fluidity in his movement and body control to adjust to ball flight and attack the ball in the air with his hands. Extends at the catch point to give him a large catch radius and make plays outside his framework. Accelerates off the LOS with a strong drive phase to close ground and eat up DB’s cushion to force them off balance. He’s got a quick release move to avoid contact and get into his route without disrupting his line or timing. 11 D1 offers thus far but expect many more high profile programs to come through as the recruiting cycle progresses.

may have had to sit out the first five games of the season due to transfer rules, but in his debut, the sophomore wideout made it clear that he’s going to be a major force for Chandler. Standing at 6’2″ and 170 pounds, Jones already has the size to match up with older defenders, and his skill set is just beginning to develop. In his first game, he hauled in 7 catches for 59 yards, showing flashes of the potential that could turn him into one of the top weapons in the entire state. As he continues to refine his game, Jones is poised to become a dominant target in Arizona high school football, and his ceiling is sky-high. Keep an eye on this rising star.

will be a new, young weapon on the outside for the Chandler Wolves. The Corona transfer saw significant playing time already at the wide receiver position for the Aztecs. Putting up numbers such as 35 catches for 305 yards and a TD was a fantastic first year campaign. He has a well-rounded game early in his time playing the sport with great route running, high pointing ability, and spectacular downfield speed, taking the top off the defense. He also already has excellent elusive ability at the position, making multiple defenders miss with ease as he continues getting yards after catch. Jones has various D1 offers with his most recent offer from Washington, as he is one of the highest recruited underclassmen in the state. In his young high school career, Jones entering this Chandler system will be an intriguing watch when he sees the field.
