Blanchard’s Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Lawton | 2027 State OK rounds out the top ten for the quarterback position and he’s another signal caller that could end up being much higher on this list by the end of the 2026 season. Smith got his first taste of QB1 work last season and it was a mixed bag of performances. He definitely checks a lot of boxes from a physical standpoint and he was productive during his junior season. As he continues to improve his accuracy and limit the turnovers, Smith is going to be an absolute weapon in the passing game. The arm talent is there and with more experience, that should put him in a higher category for this position group. We really like his ability to score in those short yardage situations. He ended up leading the Lions in rushing touchdowns last season. Smith is a QB prospect with a lot of upside and we’re looking forward to seeing the progress he’s made throughout the offseason.

Last season, Smith would fill in for their original starter at various times throughout the year. He definitely passed the eye test when we watched him in person earlier this year. Smith will now take the keys to this Blanchard offense and looks to have a breakout season. Last year, Smith would throw for just shy of 1,000 yards and ten touchdowns. His best game came against 5A runner up Guthrie in week three. If that’s a sign of what’s to come, Blanchard’s offense should be in good shape this season. They averaged just shy of 35 points per game last season and could be around that mark if not higher in 2025.

Smith got very valuable playing time during his sophomore season when the Lions were missing their eventual QB1. So Smith will go into the 2025 season with some experience and he won’t be as raw as a new starter. Smith kept Blanchard’s offense rolling in 2024 and then he came to our camp in January and was a standout at the quarterback position. But he’s one of the quarterbacks in this class that we have circled when it comes to the 2025 season. Blanchard loses a lot of talent in the skill department so Smith is going to have to find new connections with wide receivers. But he definitely passes the eye test from a physical standpoint and he has showcased some serious arm strength. Watching him go to work this fall will definitely be high on our priority list.
