Eli did everything he could to help his Mountaineers pull off a victory in this one. Eli had a couple of tackles for loss, a fumble recovery, and he scored off of a shovel pass play in the 4th quarter which cut the deficit for the Mountaineers to 27-14 early in the 4th quarter. The Davidson commit was also named a team captain this season, and didn’t take any plays off from his EDGE position in this game.

Lipscomb does a little bit of everything for Kings Mountain, and not just in the “hybrid linebacker” sense. He plays everything from slot defender to goal line defensive tackle to defensive end to linebacker. He’s likely an off-ball linebacker at the next level, but no matter where he lines up, he’s a huge playmaker. He looks like a steal for Davidson and a guy who is probably going to move up our rankings at the
