. Doucette’s biggest strength is his ability to make plays outside of the pocket, with his legs or his arm. Pocket awareness is an underrated skill for a quarterback, and Doucette has it in bunches. He very easily can sense pressure and roll out before setting his feet and firing a missile down field. The new prototype of quarterback teams want is one that can improvise and make plays off script, like a Patrick Mahomes or Caleb Williams, and Doucette certainly fits that mold.
