is one of the most elite tailbacks in all of Ohio. When he turns the corner he can win in any footrace, especially if he gets to the sideline. The team likes to get him in space, as he is also a legitimate threat in the passing game with soft hands and ability to quickly get vertical. Norman is a tough runner with great top-end speed.

Norman didn’t put up gaudy numbers on the evening, but he showed off some traits that definitely play to the next level. Kenyon is a physical runner who runs with good pad level. There wasn’t a lot of open space and running lanes to be had in this game, but he showed a good burst and the ability to make the first defender miss. He also made some plays in the pass game out of the backfield. Norman has Power 4 offers from Indiana, Iowa, Cincinnati, among others.

Kenyon has been breaking records for the Lakota West track program and put together a great combine. Within days of his combine performance, he picked up six offers. Western Michigan, Pitt, Kent State, Boston College, Miami (OH), and Iowa all swooped in for Norman, and I expect that list to only grow from here on out.

Norman is an explosive athlete. He gets up to speed quickly and uses his experience as a track athlete to burn defenders. He moves like a bowling ball at his size and is hard to bring down when rolling. He can go east to west with several juke moves to evade tacklers and shoot north when the space is in front of him. As a pass catcher, he is patient in the backfield and can provide a safety outlet for his quarterback.

Kenyon had a very good Sophomore season in 2024 where he rushed for 552 yds on 70 carries (7.9 ypa) and scored 6 TD while catching 8 passes for 166 yds (20.75 ypc) and a TD. His very good play helped the Lakota West Firebirds to an 11-win season where they advanced to the 3rd round of the playoffs and averaged 36.6 points per game. He shows good vision as he finds the open hole and is quick to get to the outside and turn the corner. He shows good athleticism in the open field before scoring a TD with ease. He is reliable in the passing game as well showing good hands as he makes the catch and uses his very good play speed to outrun all defenders before scoring a TD.
