Azeez caught 15 passes for 219 yards with two touchdowns for Tustin last season and had 12 tackles with a sack on defense.
He’s a strong guy out of the tight end spot who is very good after the catch on screens or plays in the flat. Azeez is an excellent blocker down the field, particularly in the passing game and his blocks often spring big plays from the other Tustin receivers. He has nice hands and solid speed when he gets into the open field.
Azeez worked out as a linebacker at the Under Armour Next Camp and on film he closes to the ball quickly on underneath passing routes and is a disruptor. He has an offer from Nevada but his versatility should land him some more looks.

Azeez plays receiver too but worked out with the linebackers on Sunday. He is on the speedier side compared to the other linebackers and looked good during the one-on-one reps I saw him take.

Azeez caught 15 passes for 219 yards with two touchdowns last season for Tustin and played a little defense for the Tillers as well.
He also had offers from Norfolk State and Sacramento State. Azeez is the second player from California in Nevada’s 2027 recruiting class.

Azeez is a promising athlete to add to Tustin’s crop of 2027 talent. He holds a future D-I frame at 6’/185 with raw length on his physical build. He moves well with good control of his body and shows focus on the technical side of his route-running. He needs to continue to work on consistency with his hands and cleaning up drops against tight coverage but that should continue to improve with reps and physical growth. Azeez is definitely a prospect to keep on the 2027 radar as he continues to grow and develop.
