Offense Highlights
Eastern Alamance’s high-powered passing attack was on display Friday night. Kasen McCauley, QB, 5’9” 145 completed 9 of 18 passes for 250 yards. He was able to throw a combination of a few long balls and accurate short – range passes. Darius Kane Darius Kane 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR High Point Christian | 2022 State NC , WR, 6’1” 170 was the primary target of Kasen McCauley. Darius Kane Darius Kane 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR High Point Christian | 2022 State NC had four receptions for 174 yards, scoring 3 touchdowns. He displayed the ability to quicky separate from the defender to make the catch and sprint to the end zone. Eastern Alamance secondary receiver, H. Westbrooks, WR, 5’7” 150 was solid on the short passing routes. He has good speed and accelerates after making the catch. Eastern Alamance has a solid ground attack led by Donte McCall, RB, 5’9” 215 who had 15 carries for 96 yards. He is a strong inside runner who runs with power and is difficult to bring down. Quentin Idley, 5’7” 170 is a solid straight-line runner who dodges defenders to gain additional yardage. Eastern Alamance has a big physical offensive line that protects the quarterback on passing plays. Eastern Alamance offensive line opens holes for the running backs on running plays. Roxboro Person relied mainly on a passing attack during most of the game. Jalin Smith, WR, 6’0” 145 was the primary target and made some catches in traffic. He was able to separate from the defender to make the catch and sprint to the end zone.
