is one of my favorite linebackers to watch play with his versatility. The different ways that he can affect a game constantly show themselves throughout each and every game. Finishing a close matchup against Centennial with 15 tackles, four for loss, another four quarterback pressures, a sack, and finishing it off with two passes defensed, Pimbert showed that he can make plays at all three levels. Such an advantage for Pinnacle’s defense, he has a nose for the football that always has him around the play, even when he’s not the one making it.

has an incredibly high football IQ. Evident every time he steps on the field, he has a knack for following the flow of the defense and letting that take him to the football. Once he identifies who has it, he doesn’t hesitate at all to attack with force. Pimbert has a lot of strength and a strong base which really shine when he’s rushing the passer. Able to use his strength to break through the interior of the offensive line and his speed to win on the outside, he’s a player coaches can move all around and ask him to do different things.

is an unbelievably aggressive linebacker for Saguaro. He’s so quick to react to the ball and does so with a vengeance for whoever ends up with it. Finishing the year with over 100 tackles, Pimbert was fying all over the field. In coverage, he does an excellent job swiveling his hips to be able to fluidly move through his responsibilities in zone situations. Pimbert plays the game with incredible instincts. Seemingly feeling the routes as they develop around him. Against the run, you really see his physicality come into play as he viciously rips through the line of scrimmage. Pimbert plays the game with such a high motor that it feels like his impressive athleticism is constantly on display. He has no problem taking on bigger linemen or chasing down speedy running backs from behind. He’s such a well-rounded linebacker with his combination of speed, physicality, football IQ, and pass coverage – all things that are becoming so important for linebackers looking to play on Saturdays. His incredibly impressive skillset will translate very smoothly to the next level. There’s no doubt at all that Pimbert’s a player flying under the radar, but I don’t expect it to stay that way.
